George Sandiford Limited was built around doing car sales a little differently. Rather than simply filling a forecourt, every vehicle we offer is carefully hand picked, with a strong preference for buying directly from previous owners rather than auctions. We look beyond mileage and computer valuations, paying close attention to condition, originality, ownership and maintenance history, because two seemingly identical cars can be very different in reality. From affordable everyday cars to classics and collectables, the principle is simple: we would rather pay more for the right car than buy the wrong one cheaply, and if we would not be happy owning it ourselves, we would not be happy selling it to you.
With this same approach in mind, we warrant every vehicle ourselves. Many dealers use external warranty companies to pass responsibility for the vehicle onto somebody else, often leaving the customer dealing with claim limits, exclusions and authorisation processes when something goes wrong. Because we view each of our cars personally, we stand behind the cars we stock. If a problem arises, you speak directly to us — the people who chose, prepared and sold you the car — and we take responsibility for putting it right.
